More Federal control leads to ineptitude and destruction of the American spirit.

Should we dissolve the Indian reservations?

The New York Times had a long article describing how the town of Whiteclay, Nebraska (population 12) sells millions (yes, millions!) of alcoholic beverages every year because the town is just over the border from the local Indian reservation, where alcohol is banned.  (Forgive me for calling them American Indians, but as nearly all the people reading this are "Native Americans," it's a much more descriptive and specific term.) The situation is so bad that in Whiteclay, you can find dozens of American Indians lying comatose on the streets, drunk out of their minds, like a scene out of The Walking Dead.

Fighting for Our Agenda.

SSB ImageThe Progressives of the Democratic party are already plotting and scheming on how to block our American agenda.  They are sore losers who simply do not give up even when the American People make it clear in which direction they want to go especially if it’s different from their Socialistic schemes.  They cry compromise when their definition of compromise is do things their way or face obstruction and character assassination.  They use intimidation instead of reasoned arguments.  They lie, cheat, mislead, divide and do everything they can to deter responsible Americans from restoring sanity to our Government.  I don’t mean to exclude the Republican Progressives, however, their role is to go along with what the left wants.  They are in effect enablers, too afraid to take the side of those of us who care about our American founding and culture.

Contested or Unusual Presidential Elections – Part 1

Last week on the Doc Owen Show we discussed a little about Contested or Unusual Presidential elections.  There was little time to get across all the information, so we thought we would put this research into several articles.  Below is Part 1 of a series of 6 posts.  We hope you find this information useful. The first election we will cover is the election of 1800, sometimes called the Prelude to a Duel. At that time political parties were beginning to form, an unfortunate situation for our Nation when you consider how the dominant political parties are acting today.  George Washington did not run as part of a political party.  He was a trend setter we should have followed.  He also set the precedent of serving two terms.  Honor and virtuosity were characteristics of his leadership.

Trumps 100 Day Plan

Hello Patriots, Unless you searched the net or watched LevinTV, you may not have seen this.  I am submitting this on behalf of the Doc Owen Show.  It is important information and serves as a starting point of your campaign to keep President Elect Donald Trump to his word. Many of you are disappointed in Donald Trump because he is not a conservative or not conservative enough.  After you read this we would be like to know what you think of Trumps agenda. Perhaps you have a comment on some of the issues or question them.  Please send us you opinion. This is from an address Trump gave at a recent Gettysburg gathering.  Enjoy! These are his words formatted in a way that enables you to read each proposal. “Therefore, on the first day of my term of office, my administration will immediately pursue the following six measures to clean up the corruption and special interest collusion in Washington, DC: 100 Day Plan

Confession: I’m A Backwards, Closed-Minded Millenial

Because not everything can be true and good.

I cannot tell you the number of times that I have been in a conversation with a friend or a stranger on an airplane and the phrase, open-minded, comes up.

“Oh, I grew up Catholic, but I don’t go to church anymore. I believe in God and all, but I am open minded.”

Immigration Insanity: This Federal Judge Just Turned Six States Into Sanctuary States

October 11, 2016/by Daniel Horowitz If you thought executive amnesty was bad, wait until you get a taste of judicial amnesty. A new order from a federal judge issued a week from last Friday will prevent ICE from placing detainers on many illegal aliens held in local jails in six states. This radical violation of American sovereignty — judicial tyranny on steroids — will have the effect of creating a judicial sanctuary for sanctuary cities and prevent the Obama administration from detaining even the few illegal aliens they are pursuing. You heard that correctly, a federal judge wants to grant de facto amnesty to those even the Obama administration wants to deport!

Is a Revision of Constitution Dangerous?

Scofield revision of Constitution dangerous In this article the author attempts to disqualify an Article V Convention. His arguments fall flat as they portray a false image of a COS.  I felt compelled to set the record straight. (My Comments are in parentheses and color blue) Fred Lanting Sep 27, 2016 2 Editor: Not many dayarticle-vs ago, a misleading news item appeared that began “The Convention of States is viewed as a way for states to take back control…” It went on to quote Alabama State Senator Clay Scofield as saying that “The Article V movement” challenges “the ever-growing reach of the federal government.” The good senator and others who believe that have been duped, hornswoggled, misled, lied to, by reckless politicians who hide the danger of such fiddling with the U.S. Constitution.

Is Ben Franklins sun setting?

rising-sun-chairOctober 5, 2016 The Sun Is Setting on America as Founded By Steve McCann The seemingly endless and sweltering Philadelphia summer was finally coming to an end. It is the 17th of September 1787 and for nearly four months delegates from twelve of the thirteen states, after many compromises and at times virulent disagreements, consented to what would become the Constitution of the United States of America. At the signing ceremony Ben Franklin gave an emotional speech using an anecdote involving a sun that was painted on the back of George Washington’s Presidents Chair. As recounted in James Madison’s notes:
